The new release of Coolit is here! We've added many new features making Coolit faster and easier to use than ever. The new OptimizeIt feature takes the guesswork out of optimization, and will save you countless hours. Starting with this release, Coolit will have a new pricing structure. Now, some options will no longer be provided as part of the base package, but as add on cost items. Such items include the OptimizeIt function, CAD import, parallel processing, etc. This change will only affect new customers; existing customers will continue to enjoy all of Coolit's features at the same low price. |

If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, Coolit 5.55 offers several timesaving functions. You can now zoom in or out of any view pane by holding down the scroll wheel. You can also rotate/pan by dragging with the scroll button depressed. To pan in the 3-D window, hold Ctrl and drag with the scroll button depressed. |

Many data entry boxes are now calculators (such boxes are marked with the = sign). The calculator provides all arithmetic operations, and many trigonometric and algebraic functions and constants. Using calculator boxes, you can enter the position of component as a formula, e.g. 200.3+7.1*3. This makes it easier to specify positions of components with respect to other components, compute lead areas, etc. |
