The new Coolit release, v. 5.76,
is now available for download at http://www.daat.com/. The release includes
an improved CAD import, CAD export, a new PCB interface, resistor components,
and many other features.

One-click compact heat sink models |
|||
|
|
You can create compact heat sink models with a single click. Specify either a pin fin or a plate fin sink in the appropriate Coolit dialog. If instead of a detailed model you wish to use a compact model, just check the Use Heat Sink Compact Model box. Done! Coolit will automatically create a compact model of your heat sink. |

Thumbnail Previews |

Often it can be tough to keep all of your Coolit models organized so you can find what you need in a hurry. Clever naming schemes help, but up to a point. To remedy this problem, Coolit and Coolplot files can now be previewed as thumbnail images right in Windows Explorer (Windows XP and Windows 2000 only). To preview your models in MS Explorer, choose View, and then select Thumbnails. |
